Irrigated Rhodes grass hay in 8x4x3 bales stacked in a two sided shed with gold d BD access. Cut with mower conditioner. Grass had started to set seed. Pasture was under down with lucerne at planting. Grower applied pig manure in preparation of planting. Bales had variable moisture readings with an average of 30%. Aroma from core sample did not indicate any fermentation.

Patches of nice leafy hay with good colour, there are patches in bales where old grass has lost colour. Average Moisture reading 13.1%. Dry texture due to some older leaf in cut. Some Urochloa grass present.
